Low Fire Print Properties - Using this process, decorated mugs are pad or screen printed using ceramic inks and oven-fired to produce a longer-lasting printed product. This method is dishwasher-resistant and microwave safe as well as scratch-resistant, and ideal for every-day promotional give-away purposes particularly in terms of cost and PMS colour matching. NB: care should be taken to avoid using harsh metal scourers/sharp objects to clean the mugs.

High Fire Print Properties - Using this process, decorated mugs are either screen-printed direct, or with a decal using ceramic colours and kiln fired to ensure a long life. This method is dishwasher resistant and microwave safe as well as highly scratch-resistant. For larger-sized images and mugs requiring commercial use, we recommend the high fire option. NB: refer to information below on precious metals.

Metallic Print Properties (Precious metals - high fire printing) - Metallic gold and silver are not as durable as ceramic colours. Due to the metallic content, mugs printed with these inks using a high fire method process are not microwave or dishwasher safe and should be hand-washed. For gold or silver, please add 90 cents per mug per position.

Dye Sublimation Print Properties - Using this method, images are applied to specially coated mugs - 1 side, 2 side or full wrap - using a combination of dye sublimation inks, heat and pressure. The completed mug is dishwasher-resistant and microwave safe, and ideal for photographic, full colour, 3D and half tone images.

Please Note - Multiple colours can be printed on mugs using all print options. Once we have viewed the artwork and considered the mug style/colours selected, we are happy to advise the best printing option/s available to you.

Freight - FIS* (free in store) in Brisbane and Sydney metro zones (up to 40 kms from CBD), and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. For delivery to other areas, please confirm freight charges.

Set-up Costs - The above quoted Set-up costs will apply to most designs. Complex images or redrawing designs may require a small artwork charge.
