Artwork

At Stella Promotional Products we endeavour to make your ordering process as simple as possible.  Once you have selected your required product(s), simply email to us, your artwork and we can advise if it is "print ready" or of we need some revisions by our artwork department.

What if I don't have artwork?

No worries, we'll assist you in creating or re-working your logo ready for the printing process.  All you need to do is advise us of what you'd like printed on your product(s) and we'll endeavour to complete this for you.  Our artwork service is billed at $65 + GST per hour (or part thereof).  Of course, we'll keep you informed at all times of any additional Artwork fees prior to commencing the order and will endeavour to keep you aware at all times if you are to expect increased costs.

In many cases we do not charge for our artwork services

The Set up fees displayed on our website (and detailed in our quotations) already includes an artwork fee that covers a modest level of design work and is sufficient in more than 98% of the orders we process.

I'm not sure if the artwork I have is suitable?

We prefer your artwork to be supplied to us in its original vector art format and saved in .EPS with all fonts converted to outlines / curves.  If you do not have a file like this, we can quickly create such from the files you do have available (eg .jpg, .tiff, .pdf)

Adobe Illustrator® (file extension .ai or .eps)

File types accepted

PC Corel Draw®  (file extension .cdr)
(All text converted to outline)

Jpegs (.jpg), Pdfs (.pdf). Bitmaps (.bmp), Tiffs (.tif), Giffs (.gif). 

The above file types will be accepted for one colour imprints provided they are at the same size or larger than your desired imprint size. They need to be at 300 dpi resolution or higher.

How do I send my artwork?

It is best to send your artwork via e-mail (where possible). If your file exceeds 20MB, please contact Stella Promotional Products for details on how to transfer your artwork files up to 2GB via our web based content delivery provider.

PMS colour matching

PMS is an abbreviation for Pantone Matching System^TM. These are numbered swatches similar to paint chips. These PMS numbers are used by art departments and manufacturers worldwide.

Since we are printing on many different types of surfaces and surface colours (black, blue, yellow, orange, etc.) exact PMS matches are not always possible, for example a PMS match can be achieved using a black neoprene stubby holder, but a PMS match cannot be achieved using a black plastic drink bottle.

To overcome this and to match your PMS colour(s), we can use a white underlay whereby giving colours a solid background and enabling them to retain their exact colour.  If we do not use a white underlay the colour may change, e.g. blue onto red may change to purple; blue onto yellow may change to green.
